Job Description
Nexhaul Trailers is an established trailer manufacturer that depends on the right parts showing up at the right time. When purchasing breaks down, production slows. We are looking for a Purchasing Accountant who can take ownership of sourcing, ordering, and maintaining the flow of materials that keep our plant running.
Experience is preferred but if you are motivated, have strong typing skills, know how to talk to people, have a good work ethic, and are easily trainable, we encourage you to apply.
What You’ll Do
- Purchase all parts, components, and materials required for trailer production
- Monitor inventory levels daily and anticipate upcoming production demand
- Work directly with vendors on pricing, freight, lead times, order quantities, and availability
- Track purchase orders and shipments to prevent production delays
- Resolve vendor issues including shortages, late deliveries, and quality concerns
- Identify cost savings opportunities and pricing improvements
- Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation
- Communicate regularly with Production, Inventory, Yard, and Management teams
